From VCD to iPod

Use VCD Copy X to copy VCD to Mac mini hard drive.
Older vcds are sometimes unreadable by the Mac mini. VCD Copy X remedies this problem! This results in a mpeg1 file that can be played on QT. However, when the file is exported to iPod the resulting file has no audio! Movie properties on QT will show this.
Use bbDEMUX to separate audio and video! Resulting files will be filename.m1a for the audio and filename.m1v for the video.
Use MPEG Streamclip to demux the m1a file to aiff!
Add aiff file to your iTunes library.
Open iMovie, import m1v file to clips or timeline. Add audio from your iTunes library.
Share the movie to Quicktime for iPod! Resulting file is m4v ready to add to the library.
A 5-minute music video/karaoke will take 15 to 20 minutes to make and sync to your iPod.

What’s on your iPod?
