So I got my Sirrus road bike Friday afternoon, and then later that night Justin mounted his bicycle rack on his FJ and the three of us (Monica, Justin and I) went to Dru’s and proceeded to Mission Bay with Janelle. The five of us rode around Mission Bay for an hour and a half. I thought I was not going to make the climbs, but I did. We went to Denny’s [past 2 am] before heading home…
And as if that was not enough, tonight, the four of us, without Janelle this time, took on the bike trail next to Interstate 56 between Black Mountain Road and Carmel Valley…
Such madness, hehehe, rigorous biking as Dru has said. But hey, I made the climbs, slow, but I did not walk my road bike, hehehe.
(Note to self: I need to upgrade my lights…)
I am sore all over plus my butt aches big time!
I need that padded cycling shorts…
